Once your account is verified, you will be able to fund your account with fiat currency (CAD or USD dollars) or cryptocurrency. To start, click on the "Fund" option on the left navigation bar. If you are using a mobile device, the option can be found under the menu icon (☰) in the top right-hand corner.
When you click on "Fund", you will see two options to fund your account:
- "Fund with Dollars"
- "Deposit Crypto"
Fund with Dollars
To switch between currencies, click on the drop-down arrow under 'Currency'.
To switch between funding methods, select the drop-down arrow under the 'Funding Method' to switch between e-transfer, wire transfer or online bill payment.
⚠️ The name on the bank account you are funding from must match the name on your Netcoins account. Any third-party funding will result in account closure.

Funding via E-transfer (minimum $10 and CAD only):
Log into your online banking and follow the instructions EXACTLY as given to send an e-transfer to fund your account. If your bank requires a security question and answer, click on the link "Click here" in the blue box (shown below) to reveal your unique security question and answer.
⚠️ IMPORTANT⚠️ Please make sure you include your Netcoins account number in the memo/message field of the e-transfer to prevent delays in funding. If you forgot to include your Netcoins account number, please see our support article here.
Funding via Wire Transfer (minimum $500):
Select the currency and the amount you would like to fund and follow the instructions shown on the screen to send a bank wire or request. For any amount less than $10,000 CAD, we recommend funding via e-transfer for faster turnaround time. If you send the wrong currency to the account, it will be converted automatically subject to the banks exchange rate, and we will only credit the final converted amount minus any fee it may have incurred for the conversion.
⚠️ IMPORTANT⚠️ Please make sure you take a photo of the signed copy of the wire receipt after the wire has been completed. Send the bank wire receipt via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We won't be able to issue the funds if we do not receive the wire receipt.
Funding via Online Bill Payment (credit unions only, minimum $50):
Go to your online banking or banking app and add Netcoins Inc. as a payee by searching "Netcoins". When setting up the payee, please enter the account number shown in the instructions as part of the payee details. Failure to do this will cause a delay in funding. Through your online banking or banking app, pay a bill to Netcoins Inc with the amount that you wish to fund.
Please note, online bill payments usually arrive in 1-3 business days and this does not include the day that it was sent. Additional delays may occur if further verification is required or if the account number is not properly entered.
